GIBA – Investiture 2017

The investiture of the newly elected Executive Council took place on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Multichoice Ghana Ltd. The new Executive Council is an expansion from the existing five (5) members to seven (7) members and is representative of all the sectors of broadcasting namely radio, free-to-air television, pay television and internet/webcasting. They were sworn into office by Nana Kwasi Gyan-Appenteng, the Chairman of the National Media Commission who stressed the need to work together on resetting the agenda to ensure effective regulations to guide broadcasting.

Present at the ceremony were stakeholders from the Ghana Police Service, Diplomatic Corps, Development Partners and friends of the media.
